Raised in a very remote part of Kenya close to Lake Naivasha (home to George and joy Adamson’s) meant close encounter with nature from such an early age. I took every opportunity to go on camping, hiking or a hunting trip at a young age that sparked my interest in the natural world. I have developed passion and deep connection to Africa’s wilderness areas and the diverse birdlife.
My passion led me to work as an environmental educator for 8 years bringing me closer to fine details of guiding as well as sharing my knowledge of wilderness with future generation that will safeguard the natural world.
I am currently working as a freelance guide with different tour companies that specialize in birdwatching safaris as well as tailored private safaris for clients who are searching for an elusive animal, a rare bird, or an Action photographic opportunity. I am currently leading overland tours in East and Southern Africa from gorilla
trekking to the great plains of Serengeti or Kruger National Park in South Africa with Intrepid travels.
I hold a silver level badge with KPSGA (Kenya professional safari guides association), Bachelor in tourism and wildlife management and numerous certifications from Natural history museum of Kenya and Cornell university. Namely, fundamentals of Ornithology, Reptiles and amphibians’ natural history, climate change,
biodiversity course, Outdoor adventure course and a national geographic certificate in Conservation.
A safari with Prof will ensure you get the best of East Africa and southern Africa, venture in to untouched wilderness where less tourist travels to give you a sense of the natural wild side on its
