About Me
Raised in a very remote part of Kenya close to Lake Naivasha (home to George and joy Adamson’s) meant close encounter with nature from such an early age. I took every opportunity to go on camping, hiking or a hunting trip at a young age that sparked my interest in the natural world. I have developed passion and deep connection to Africa’s wilderness areas and the diverse bird life.
My passion led me to work as an environmental educator for 8 years bringing me closer to fine details of guiding as well as sharing my knowledge of wilderness with future generation that will safeguard the natural world.
Iam now working as a freelance guide with different tour companies that specialize in birdwatching safaris as well as tailored private safaris for my clients who are searching for an elusive animal, a rare bird, or an action photographic opportunity. I am currently leading overland tours in East and Southern Africa, from gorilla trekking to the great plains of Serengeti or Kruger National Park in South Africa, with Intrepid Travels.
I studied Wildlife and Tourism Management, I’m a silver-level certified guide with Kenya Professional Safari Guides Association (KPSGA), and have numerous certifications from the Natural History Museum of Kenya and Cornell University. Namely, the fundamentals of ornithology, reptiles and amphibians’ natural history, climate change, biodiversity courses, outdoor adventure courses, and a national geographic certificate in conservation.
A safari with Prof will ensure you get the best of East Africa and Southern Africa. Venture into the untouched wilderness where fewer tourists travel to give you a sense of the natural wild side of it’s
best.
A privately guided safari is the best way to see Africa’s wild places; be it a rare bird quest, an elusive leopard, or the sort of action moments for your photographic safari, it can easily be arranged.
For a private safari request, places to visit recommendations, or any questions regarding travel in east and southern Africa, don’t hesitate to reach out to Prof., and I will happily sort you out.
For nature enthusiasts, this is your page to enjoy my travels through the screen as you turn page to page and enjoy some of my moments in the wild through photos.
